One Northern Virginia business helping another

Less busywork. Fewer mistakes. Hours back every week.

I find the manual work that's slowing your team down. Scheduling, chasing quotes, client updates, the Friday report. Then I fix it, at a fixed price, in about a week. Tell me about it in an email, or sit down with me for half an hour. Either way the plan and the price are free.

  • You see the price before anything starts
  • Half up front, half when it works
  • Deposit refunded if you change your mind before I start

Hours back every week

The repetitive work that eats afternoons gets handled, so your people spend their time on the work you actually bill for.

Fewer expensive mistakes

Double-bookings, missed follow-ups, and lost paperwork are usually a system problem, not a people problem. Fix the system and they mostly go away.

Customers stop chasing you

When people can see their own status and get updates on their own, your phone gets quieter and your reviews get better.

Sound familiar?

If any of these is your week, that's what I fix.

The schedule lives on a whiteboard and in the crew's text messages.

Everyone sees the same schedule on their phone. No more double-booked crews, no more “I never got that text.”

Clients call all week asking where things stand.

They check their own status page instead of calling you. The interruptions mostly stop.

Quotes go out and then we forget to follow up.

Every quote gets tracked and followed up automatically. You stop losing work you already bid on.

New customers reach us by phone, voicemail, and a form nobody checks.

One place everything lands, with reminders that cut down on no-shows.

Every Friday someone spends half a day building the numbers.

The numbers are ready when you open them. That half-day goes back to real work.

Five people share one spreadsheet and someone always breaks it.

One place everyone works from, where nothing gets overwritten and you can see who changed what.

Yours is probably a little different. Describe it in one sentence and I'll tell you what I'd do about it.

How it works

Three steps, no meetings required.

1

Tell me what's broken

One email, in plain English. Something like “every Monday someone spends four hours copying orders into a spreadsheet.” If it's easier to talk it through, we can sit down for half an hour instead.

2

I send a plan and a price

Within a day you get exactly what I'd fix and what it costs. One number for the whole job. The plan is free whether or not you hire me.

3

About a week later, it's done

Your team starts using it. I fix anything that breaks for two weeks after, free.

What it costs

One price, agreed before anything starts.

Where you land in a range depends on how much there is to untangle. Your exact number is set before any work begins, and it doesn't change after that. I take on two projects at a time so each one gets my full attention.

One Fix

$300 to $500

2 to 3 days

One specific task that's wasting time every week. The smallest useful thing I can do for you.

  • Fixes one process
  • In your team's hands in days
Most common

The Main Headache

$1,200 to $2,000

about a week

The big one. Scheduling, client updates, intake, job tracking. The thing everyone complains about in every meeting.

  • Works for your whole team
  • Built around how you already work
  • Two weeks of free fixes

Bigger Project

$2,700 to $4,500

about two weeks

Several processes connected together, or something your customers use directly, like booking, payments, and their own accounts.

  • Multiple processes, one system
  • Can handle customer payments
  • A clear plan for what comes next

How I work with you

No open-ended hourly billing and no surprises on the invoice. When the work is done, you're free to walk away with it. Some clients ask me to stay on afterward for ongoing support, but that's optional and we'd talk about it after your tool is already working.

  • You see the price before anything starts
  • Half up front, half when it works
  • Deposit refunded if you change your mind before I start
  • Everything stays in your name

Who you're working with

Bryson Lindsey

Northern Virginia

My dad ran a small business, so I grew up watching this up close. He'd try the big general-purpose software packages, and they often didn't quite fit what he actually needed.

That's the problem I work on now. My day job is product management, which means sitting with a team, figuring out where their work actually gets stuck, and turning that into something built. I've done it for the teams I work with and for people around me, and it always goes the same way: the fix starts with understanding the work, and the software comes second.

So what you get is shaped around your business, instead of a big platform you have to bend yourself around. When you email, I'm the one who answers, and you won't need to explain anything technical to me. Just tell me what your week looks like.

I'm based here in Northern Virginia, not an agency three time zones away and not a call center. If you'd rather talk it through in person than over email, I can come to you. You know where to find me, and that's the point.

Fair questions

Do I need to be technical?

Not at all. You describe the problem the way you'd describe it to a friend. I ask a few questions about how the work flows today, and I handle the rest.

Can we just talk it through instead?

Absolutely. If it's a tangled one, or you'd rather explain it out loud than write it down, I'll set aside 30 to 60 minutes and we can dig in properly. Since I'm local I'm happy to come to you, or we can do it over video. No charge, and no obligation afterward.

Why is this cheaper than the quotes I've gotten?

Because I keep the scope small and there's no overhead. Bigger shops quote $5,000 to $75,000 because they're paying account managers and running long discovery phases. It's just me, fixing one thing at a time.

What happens after it's built?

I fix anything that breaks free for two weeks. After that most of these just quietly do their job. If you want changes down the road, we can set up a monthly arrangement.

What if my problem is bigger than a week?

Then we start with the part that costs you the most and fix that first. Once you're using it, we decide together what's worth doing next.

What's the one thing your team dreads every week?

One sentence is enough. Within a day you'll have a real plan and a real price, written by me. If it's a complicated one, say so and we'll find 30 to 60 minutes to talk it through first. Either way, if you don't like what I send back, it cost you nothing.
